Located in the heart of Champagne 5 kilometers d’Epernay, Hautvillers, incomparable site, dominates the vineyard with its abbey where the Grand Cellerier Dom Pérignon gave birth, around 1681, to the first champagne bubbles. Thanks to his monk Benedictine, Hautvillers has become the most renowned throughout the region.

Burial place of Dom Pérignon, father spiritual of Champagne. In 1673, Dom Pérignon had cellars built for preserve the wine. Thanks to him, the abbey acquired a great reputation.
